We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is due when you pick up your completed garment. For large custom orders or bridal packages, we may require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

Yes — denim is one of our most popular alteration categories. We offer jean hemming with original-hem preservation (keeping the factory distressed edge), tapering, waist adjustments, zipper replacements, and patching. Original-hem denim hemming starts at $30. We work with all denim weights from lightweight stretch to heavyweight selvedge.

Yes — this is one of the most common reasons clients visit us. We can take in or let out seams, adjust waistbands, reshape dresses, resize blazers, and modify virtually any garment to match your current body. In many cases, altering clothes you already love is more cost-effective and sustainable than buying new. We'll assess each piece and let you know what's possible and what would look best.

Yes — garment repair is a significant part of our work. We handle zipper replacements (on jackets, pants, dresses, bags), torn seam repair, button replacement, relining coats, patching holes, fixing hems that have come undone, and restoring garments after dry cleaning damage. If the garment has sentimental or monetary value, we'll do everything we can to restore it.

Bring the garment(s) you'd like altered, plus the shoes you plan to wear with them (especially important for hemming trousers or dresses). If you have a reference photo showing the fit you're after, bring that too. Wear or bring appropriate undergarments for fittings, particularly for bridal or formalwear. We'll handle the rest — no preparation needed beyond that.

Stitching Studio is located at 4004 Contralto Way, Antelope, CA 95843 — just minutes from Sacramento, Roseville, and Citrus Heights. Our in-studio hours are Monday–Friday 8am–4pm and Saturday 9am–5pm (closed Sunday). Through our mobile at-home tailoring service, we also serve Elk Grove, North Highlands, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Rancho Cordova, and the broader Sacramento metropolitan area.
